Handmade Soft Kasuri Methi Mathri Recipe
You may have seen Kasuri Meethi Mathri on sweet shop counters and Nameek shop counters, Handmade Matri are very soft and tasty. You can serve it in daily breakfast and snacks, and can be stored for 1-2 months from the day for preparation.

- Serves persons – 4-6
|1||Ajwain (Carom Seeds)||1 Tablespoon|
for Dough prepration
|3||Salt||As per taste|
|4||Maida/Refined Flour or Wheat Flour||500 gram|
|5||Olive/Refined Oil||500 ml|
|6||Kasuri Methi||1 Tablespoon|
Step 1 – Take Refined flour, + Salt + Ajwain (Carom seeds) + Kasuri Methi in a big bowl and mix well.
Step 2 – Add 100 ml refined or olive oil for maun and knead the dough so that you can easily make laddu after pressing the dough.
Maun – is a mixture of oil in flour for dough preparation.
Step 3 – Now add water and Knead the tight dough, like we knead for poori .
Step 4 –Take a small size ball from the dough and Flaten out using your palm using both hands so that convert into as shown in image below.
Step 5 – Heat the oil (500 ml ) in the pan and drop Matri, The Matri should be fry on low flame. The frying process will take around 15-20 mins. Once fried, take it out in the absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
