How to make Butter Paneer Masala

Paneer Butter masala 

Panner butter masala is one of the best known north Indian dishes, it is prepared using thick Gravy and slightly spicy. It has a unique taste and is best in  the category of party dish.

Ingredients Details

S. No Ingredients Quantity
  1 paneer cube 250grm
  2 Onion chopped 2 pieces
 3 Tomato chopped 2 pieces
 4 Cashew 10 pieces
 5 Coriander powder 1tbps
6 Garam masala 1tbps
7 Turmeric powder 1tbps
8 Kashmiri red chilli powder 1tbps
9 Ginger , Garlic paste 1tbps
10 Kasuri methi 1tbps
11 Chopped green coriander For garnish
12 Butter 100 grm
13 Salt to taste

Recipe Method

Heat a pan with Butter . fry onions until they turn transparent.

Fry tomatoes with salt for 3 minutes. Cook covered till the mixture turns soft and mushy.

Add Garam Masala, coriander powder, cashews, red chilly powder and sugar if using. Fry until the mix gets roasted well and it should begin to leave the sides of the pan. Switch off the heat

When the mixture cools, blend it with 1 cup water in a blender to very smooth.

Add butter to the same pan, add dry spices and fry for one to 2 minutes

Pour the blended pure, add red chilly powder, if desired ¼ to ½ cup of water. Cook for 4 minutes. Let the gravy reach the desired consistency before you add paneer

Step 8Add Paneer Kasuri Methi . Stir well and cook for 3 minutes. Can add cream if desired

.Step 9Transfer butter Paneer to a serving bowl and garnish with Cream or Coriander leaves.


Butter paneer masala ir ready serve it with naan.plain roti.missi roti
