How to make Mutter Paneer

Easiest and oldest Paneer recipes which do not require any additional effort. You can quickly plan and prepare Mutter Paneer.

Ingredients for Mutter Paneer

Ingredient Quantity
Paneer cube 250 gm
Green peas Fresh/Frozen 50 gm
Onion Paste 2 pieces
Tomato Paste 2 pieces
Cumin seeds(jeera) 1tbps
Garlic(Lahsun) paste 1/5 tbsp
Ginger (Adrak) paste 1/5 tbsp
Coriander(Dhania) powder 1 tbsp
Garam masala 1 tbsp
Chopped Geen coriander 1 tbsp
Butter/Ghee 4 tbsp
Red chilli/(Lal Mirch) 1 tbsp
Salt As per taste
Turmeric(Haldi) powder
1 tbsp

Recipe method

Step 1 – Grind Onion and Tomato to a smooth paste.

Step 2 – Cut the Fresh Paneer in small cubes and fry in Ghee until turns glossy.


Step 3 – Add two spoon oil in the pan and pour cumin seeds. As soon cumin seeds crackle add the Garlic and Ginger and saute for 1-2 minutes.


Step 4 – Add onion paste add saute for anther 2 minutes on medium flame.


Step 5 – Add Tomato paste + Turmeric + Coriander(Dhania) powder + Garam Masala + Salt as per taste + Red Chilli Powder and astir-fry till fat separates.


Step 6 – Add 2 cup water + Peas (Mutter),  Paneer and saute over high heat till glossy. boil and simmer for 5-10 minutes.


Matar Paneer is ready, serve it with hot chapati/Rice…
