How To Make Palak(spnich) Roti

Palak Roti- Palak roti is tasty and healthy green roti. Palak Roti is specially good for children because they do not like spinach. Regular use of spinach help us to prevent iron in our body.

Ingredients Details

S. No Ingredients Quantity
 1 Wheat Flour 250 grm
 2 Chopped spinach (palak) 250 grm
 3 Salt as per taste 1 tbps
 4 Green chilli 2 pieces
 5 Ginger paste 1/2 tbsp


    Recipe Method   

Step 1-  Heat some water in a non-stick pan .When it comes to a boil ,add a Spinach leaves and let them                                         blench.     

 Step 2- Remove the Spinach from hot water and dip them in cool water.Drain and put in a mixer jar . Add                                    Green chilli and Ginger and grind till smooth.

 Step 3 – Take a bowl and add wheat flour and strain this mixture  into a bowl and knead into a soft Dough.

 Step 4 –  Heat a Tawa.Divide the dough into small portions and roll into balls.

 Step 5 – Take a Rolling pins and dust the balls in a little flour and roll into thin Roti.  

 Step 6 -Cook the Roti on both sides slightly on the Tawa and then put on direct flame till well puffed.

 Palak Roti is ready served it with Curd /Green chutney…
