Mutter Paratha Recipe

The Green Fresh Peas/Mutter another one of the tasty dish in Paratha family. I use prepare Peas Paratha almost every month. 

  • Preparation time- 10 mins
  • Cooking  time   – 30 mins  
  • Serve persons –    4


S. No Ingredients Quantity
1 Wheat Flour 250 Gram
2 Water 1 Glass
3 Oil 4 – 6 Tablespoon
4 Green peas 250 Gram
5 Salt to taste  
6 Coriander powder 1 Tablespoon
7 Garam masala 1 Tablespoon
8 Green chilli 3 to 4 pieces

Recipe Method

Step 1 – Boil peas till they become a bit soft, remove the additional water. Take a grinder and grind peas into a paste.


Step 2   Heat oil in a kadhai and add cumin seeds until crackles and turns glossy. Add Peas paste, Red chilli powder, Garam masala, Coriander powder and 2 tablespoon Besan (Gram flour) the pea paste, and mix properly.


Step 3 – Peas stuffing is ready.

 Step 4 – Take a bowl add wheat flour + salt + water and knead the soft wheat  flour dough.


Step 5 – Break off small  sized pieces from the dough, make them round. Put dry flour on 1 ball and roll it into a paratha.

Step 6 – Now put  Peas stuffing on it. Wrap up the parantha properly.

 Step 7 – Coat with dry flour on the rolling board and roll the round shape paratha. Place Tawa on gas and heat it well. Put rolled paratha on the hot Tawa, apply oil on both sides, turn over time to time and cook till both sides turn brown.



Mutter Paratha is ready, Serve it with aloo curry sabzi, curd or Butter.
