Paneer Kathi Roll Recipe

Kati roll is a street-food dish from Kolkata, India. It is a Rolled Roti/Chapati wrapped with Vegetables, Paneer, Green Chutney, and Sauce. Kathi Roll is Spicy and yummy Snack. The dish is easy to prepare and is loved by children.

S. No Ingredients Quantity
1 Wheat flour 1 cup
2 Capsium Chopped 1 pieces
3 Carrot Chopped 1 Medium Size
4 Cabbage Chopped ½  Pieces
5 Cumin seeds ½ Tablespoon
6 Red chilli ½ Tablespoon
7 Onion Chopped 1 pieces
8 Turmeric Powder 1 Tablespoon
9 Coriander powder 1 Tablespoon
10 Garam masala 1 Tablespoon
11 Chat masala 1 Tablespoon
12 Green chilli 2 pieces
13 Salt As per taste
14 Oil 2 Tablespoon
15 Sauce 2 Tablespoon
16 Paneer 125 Gram
17  Ghee/Butter  2 Tablespoon



Recipe Method

For Roti/Chapati

  1. Take a bowl and add Wheat flour and pinch of Salt and Knead the soft Dough,
  2. Now make the equal size ball out of the dough.
  3. Take a rolling pin and make the roti.
  4. Heat the Tawa and Transfer the rolled roti on it. And cook the roti both side, apply ghee on the roti.
  5. Cook the Roti/Chapati from both side,
  6. Apply ghee/butter on the roti.

Method For Stuffing. 

  1. Heat the oil in a kadhai.
  2. Add the cumin seeds , Onion, Green chilli and saute for 1 min.
  3. Now add the vegetables, salt, Paneer and mix well. Now saute the vegetables for 2 mins.
  4. Add the Red chilli, Turmeric powder, Coriander powder,  Chat masala and mix well.
  5. Now take roti and apply the chutney and sauce on the roti,
  6. Apply the stuffing in the centre of the Roti/Chapati and some Onion rings.
  7. Now roll it from the side from the  side in the cylindrical shape.
  8. Warm Kathi roll is ready.

Kathi paneer roll is ready, Serve it with green chutney and Tomato Ketchup.
