Ingredients
  • 1 kg Methi or Fenugreek leaves chopped
  • 250 gram potato chopped
  • 1 piece onion chopped
  • 2 pieces green chillli chopped
  • 2 tbsp besan or gram flour
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 10 tbsp oil
  • 250 gram whole wheat flour

Instructions
  1. Cut and wash Methi and Aloo.

  2. Heat the pan and add 2 tbsp oil, as soon heated add chopped green chili + chopped onion and saute for 1-2 minutes to turn glossy.

  3. Add Methi + Potato + Turmeric powder + Coriander Powder + Red Chilli Powder + Garam Masala + Salt and mix it well.

  4. Cover it with the Lid next 10 minutes.

  5. Now Remove the lid, add besan and mix it well. Let it cook until potatoes are soft and cooked well it should take about 15 minutes. Do stir one or two times in between.

  6. Now take a spoon and mash potato very well. Aloo methi stuffing is ready. cool aside for 15 minutes.

  7. Make the dough for paratha. Take atta, salt and oil in a bowl. Mix using Fingertips. Add the little water a time and start kneading the dough. The smooth and soft dough are ready.

  8. Now take one flatten dough ball at a time. Dip it into dry flour and roll into the circle using rolling pin and board.

  9. Take a aloo methi stuffing in the center of circle dough.

  10. Fold the edge properly.

  11. Roll the ball into a flat not to thin circle. roll very smoothly because stuffing should not come out.

  12. Heat the Tawa and put rolled paratha on it. apply the oil both sides and cook until turns brown.
