Aloo/Potato Besan Sev Namkeen Recipe

Aloo Besan Sev is most liked snack due to Aloo/Potato flavour.  The Recipe preparation is almost same like Besan Sev, The only difference is Aloo/Potato as additional Ingredient. There are many varieties of Sev Potato Besan Sev, Ratlamai Sev, Rice Sev etc.

Ingredients
  • 300 ml olive or refined oil
  • 250 gram besan or gram flour
  • 2 Piece Mashed Potato
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 tbsp roasted cumin and carom powder
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp salt

Instructions
  1. Assemble all the Ingredients.

  2. Take a bowl add all the ingredients and mix it well.
  3. Add water and knead a dough, Aloo Besan Sev dough ready.

  4. Use the Besan Sev mould and fill the dough at the other end.
  5. Heat the oil in Pan and drop Aloo Sev directly in oil. Fry Aloo Sev in medium flame.
  6. As soon Aloo Sev fry, take out in a bowl and serve after cooling down to the room temperature.
