Bathua Paratha Recipe

Bathua paratha is made from wheat flour + Gram flour and boiled Bathua. You can serve it as morning breakfast or for lunch/dinner. Bathua is a green leafed vegetable which is very useful for health. Bathua is a very popular vegetable in North India, during the winter seasons.

Ingredients
  • 250 ml olive or refined oil
  • 1 kg bathua
  • 1 piece ginger
  • 4-5 leaves green coriander
  • 2 pieces green chilli
  • 25 gram besan or gram flour
  • 250 gram wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp salt

Instructions
  1. Take a Bathua leaves and wash it nicely to remove the mud .

  2. Heat water and boil the bathua leaves in hot water for 5 to 7 minutes. Cool, the Bathua

  3. Take a jar add green chilli + green coriander leaves + ginger and blend it properly make a smooth paste.
  4. Take a bowl add wheat flour + besan + salt + blend Bathua and knead a smooth dough.

  5. Now make the equal size ball out of the dough, and flatten on your palm.
  6. Take a rolling pin and make the round shape Paratha.

  7. Grease some oil top on paratha.

  8. And fold it half circle.

  9. Now grease the oil half circle on the paratha and fold again like a mini triangle.Take a rolling pin and roll triangle shape paratha. Heat the Tawa and Transfer the rolled paratha on it.

  10. Apply oil on both sides, turn over time to time and cook till both sides turn brown.

  11. Bathua paratha is read, Take a serving plate and put the paratha on it.
