Dahi Baingan Bharta, A thick gravy like spicy curry which will add the new taste to your plate. Bharta is grinded/mashed vegetable, Boiled and Roasted mashed Bharta can be prepared using Aloo or  Baigan, the most popular Bharta vegetable.

Ingredients
  • 250 gram Brinjal or Baingan 250 -300 gram
  • 250 gram yogurt/curd
  • 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 2 pieces green chilli chopped
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin powder roasted powder
  • 1/2 tbsp green coriander chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp Black salt

Instructions
  1. Roast the Brinjal or Baingan on high flame.

  2. The roasted Brinjal converts into the soft pulp like shape, as shown in the image.

  3. Cool the brinjal and peel it using hands, the shown brinjal is half peeled. You have to peel it properly. Note - do not mix Curd/Yogurt in hot brinjal/baingan because hot will separate curd and water.
  4. Mash the brinjal/baingan using blender or hands and add + cumin seed powder + green chilli + red chilli + curd + chopped green coriander + salt in a bowl and mix well.

  5. 1-minute mixing is more than sufficient.
