Gavar Masala Recipe

Gavar Masala or Cluster Beans is a very common dish. Today I am preparing very delicious and healthy dry Gavar. Gavar masala is very easy to make at home.

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 gram Gavar or Cluster Bean
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tbsp amchur or mango powder
  • 1 pieces onion chopped
  • 1 pieces green chilli chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp green coriander chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
Servings: person
Instructions
  1. Wash and cut Gavar properly. Take a pressure cooker, add chopped Gavar + water and boil in pressure cooker 1 whistle on high flame.

  2. Heat oil in the kadhai, Add the cumin seeds stir until they turn glossy.

  3. Add chopped green chilli + onion and saute until they turn transparent.

  4. Now add Boiled Gavar + Turmeric powder + Red chilli powder + Coriander powder + Amchur powder + Aaram masala + Salt mix it well and saute for 2-3 minutes.

  5. Masala Gavar is ready, Garnish it with Chopped Green coriander.
