Puri are loved by everyone and here I am going to prepare delicious moong dal puri, I am adding moong dal so that you can add protien to you breakfast.

Ingredients
  • 300 ml olive or refined oil
  • 125 gram wheat flour
  • 125 gram moong dal dhuli moong dal
  • 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp besan or gram flour
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp green coriander chopped for garnish

Instructions
  1. boil moong dal in pressure cooker using fresh drinking water. 1 cooker whistle is more than enough to boil. allow it to cool and drain out the excess water.
  2. Take bowl and add wheat flour + besan or gram flour + moong dal + red chilli powder + salt + cumin seeds and kned the dough.
  3. Dough may not require water while knead due to boiled moond dal.
  4. Now seperate small puri size balls - 1 inch diameter.

  5. Roll the puri using rolling pin.

  6. Heat the oil in deep pan/kadhai and drop puri to deep fry.

  7. Take from pan out as soon turns glossy.

  8. Server it hot with aloo sabzi.

Moong Dal Puri is ready, Garnish Moong Dal Puri with chopped green coriander and serve hot with Aloo Sabzi and Pickle.
