Palak Puri Recipe

Palak Puri is made from wheat flour + Gram flour and Spanish. You can serve it as morning breakfast or for lunch/dinner. Palak normally is not loved by children… but if you prepare Palak Puri then your children will surely like it, The dish is a source of Iron and Protein and is very easy to prepare.

Ingredients
  • 300 ml olive or refined oil
  • 250 gram palak or spnich
  • 250 gram wheat flour
  • 50 gram besan or gram flour
  • 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 2 pieces green chilli

Instructions
  1. Clean and wash the Palak Properly. Take a mixture grinder and add palak + ginger + green chilli and blend the smooth puree.

  2. Take a bowl and add wheat flour + gram flour or besan + red chilli powder + 2 tablespoons refined oil + palak puree and mix it well to prepare the dough.

  3. Now knead a smooth dough, do not add water in starting. usually, grinded palak have enough water which is sufficient to knead the dough.

  4. Now divide small puri size balls, 1-inch diameter each.

  5. Roll the puri using the rolling pin.

  6. Heat the oil in the kadhai and drop puri to deep fry.

  7. Fry until they turn slightly brown in colour and get puffy.

  8. serve it hot with aloo sabzi.
