Panjiri is a popular Indian whole wheat flour  based sweet prepared in the North India. There are many types of Panjiri. Dry fruit Panjiri, Dhaniya Panjiri, methi Panjiri.

Ingredients
  • 4 tbsp Ghee
  • 100 gram whole wheat flour
  • 50 gram sugar powder
  • 8 pieces kashew chopped
  • 6 pieces almond chopped
  • 8-9 pieces Makhana or lotus seeds chopped
  • 8-9 pieces kishmis/raisins
  • 1 tbsp coconut powder
  • 1/2 tbsp cardamom powder

Instructions
  1. Heat the heavy base pan on low flame, add wheat flour + 4 tbsp ghee and mix it well.

  2. Now stir the wheat flour until golden Brown.

  3. Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool. Take a bowl and Once the flour mixture is cooled, add powdered sugar + chopped dry fruits and mix it well.

  4. Take a serving bowl and pour the Panjiri in it.

Recipe Notes

Tip : While sauteing the whole wheat flour, be careful that you keep mixing so that it does not burn. This is a very important step to a good tasting Panjiri.
