Sattu Paratha is one of the most popular essential food of Bihar district of India. Sattu Paratha is very easy to make among all stuffed paratha. This paratha is a delicious and healthy food when served with tomato salsa, Dahi Baingan Bharta and Dahi Aloo Bharta.

Ingredients
  • 8 tbsp olive or refined oil
  • 250 gram wheat flour
  • 150 gram sattu
  • 1 piece onion choppped
  • 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 glass Water

Instructions
  1. Take a bowl add sattu + red chilli + salt + chopped onion and mix it well.

  2. Now add water in sattu mixture and make a stuffing.

  3. Take a bowl add wheat flour + salt + water and knead the soft wheat flour dough.

  4. Break off small sized pieces from the dough, roll them round and put sattu stuffing on it. Wrap up the parantha properly.

  5. Coat with dry flour on the rolling board and roll the round shape paratha.

  6. Put rolled paratha on the hot Tawa, apply oil on both sides, turn over time to time and cook till both sides turn brown.

  7. Sattu Paratha is ready.

Sattu Paratha is ready, Serve it with Dahi Baingan Bharta and Dahi Aloo Bharta.
