Soft Wheat Flour Litti Recipe

Litti is the Favourite food of Bihar and Jharkhand, In Rajasthan it called Bati.  Bati/Litti served with Choka in Bihar & Jharkhand  and with Dal in Rajasthan. The dish with a unique taste and can be found easily in North India.

Ingredients
  • 150 ml olive or refined oil for dough
  • 250 gram wheat flour for dough
  • 1/2 tbsp ajwain or carom seeds for dough
  • 1/2 tbsp salt for dough
  • 150 ml Water for dough
Microwave Utensils
  • 1 piece low rack
  • 1 piece hand gloves

Instructions
  1. Take a bowl, Add wheat flour + oil + ajwain or carom seeds + salt and mix well. now add water knead the soft dough and keep it aside for 10-15 mins.

  2. Now cut 1.5-inch diameter size balls and give them ball like shape and keep on the low rack. Cook for 18 min on the charcoal feature.

  3. After 9 minutes turn the litti or bati and allow them to cook from another side.

  4. After next 9 minutes take out hot litti/bati and pour in ghee/butter.

  5. Serve it hot with Dal or choka. Here it is served with Dal.
